Summer Market

 Saturday – July 21

Member Vermont Farmers Market Association

Saturday is Photo Day at the Market. I’ve asked our vendors to bring photos of their business when they’re not at the market so you can see what they do the rest of the week.

You can also see some photos taken by the Quechee Area Camera Club. They spent a morning at market in June and took some Spectacular Photos. Contact Lisa Lacasse for arrangements to use the photos.

I’m writing this while listening to a gentle, welcome rain. And with that rain will come an abundance of summer vegetables  —  Zucchini, summer squash, onions, garlic scapes, and fresh rosemary for a blast of flavor, tomatoes.

And don’t forget all the baked goods, sandwiches, croissants and cookies

And take home a unique gift from one of our crafters

And for the Younger marketeers…….

Reach the Peak       UVHEAL (Upper Valley Healthy Eating Active Living) is making it easy for Upper Valley kids and families to eat smart and be active this summer. Just pick up a game board at the manager’s shed and look for the vendors that have the Reach the Peak signs. You’ll be able to buy a weekly special for $.25 and keep track on your game card. It’s a fun and inexpensive way to learn about the value of food at farmers markets.
