Calling all young growers, crafters, bakers, and such for a

Youth Market

August 18th will mark the return of the Youth Farmers Market. We set up an area for kids to sell any wares that they’ve grown, sewn, baked, mixed, or crafted. We have space for about 10 kid sized booths (and their adult helpers) so let me know if you’d like to come. There is no charge for the space; you just need to bring a table (sharing is great), a sign, some way to make change (cash box), and your favorite adult helper.

Also for the younger marketeers…….

Reach the Peak       UVHEAL (Upper Valley Healthy Eating Active Living) is making it easy for Upper Valley kids and families to eat smart and be active this summer. Just pick up a game board at the manager’s shed and look for the vendors that have the Reach the Peak signs. You’ll be able to buy a weekly special for $.25 and keep track on your game card. It’s a fun and inexpensive way to learn about the value of food at farmers markets.
