High Summer is Here

I always associate colorful vegetables and fruits with summer. Greens are great but the reds of tomatoes and strawberries are glorious. Purple eggplants and kohlrabi  look great with the yellow and ruby of the beets. Gold can be found in many of the baked goods and honey and the warm browns of hand crafted wood are mixed with the explosion of colors from the jewelers. There is something here for everyone.

Recycling comes to the Norwich Farmers Market

We now have a bin for recycled products but we need your help to make it work. Many of the paper products come from plates that have had food on them. To make these recyclable, they need to be scraped clean. Help us make this program work by reminding everyone to keep food and non recyclable items out of the blue recycle bin. Thanks for your help.

Looking for a teacher appreciation gift? Why not get a bunch of Farmers Market tokens? They’re sold as $5 coins that can be used at the Norwich Farmers Market year round. They don’t take up much room, don’t expire, and always fit.

Come join us for a Saturday tradition. Get there early to pick up everything that you’ll need for a weekend of gardens, grills, and picnics. Bakers, weaver, carvers, and potters all conspire to make your time at market memorable.

Make sure to sign up for our weekly newsletter right here on our web page.

Here are some photos from the Quechee Area Camera Club. They spent a morning at market in June and took some Spectacular PhotosContact Lisa Lacasse for arrangements to use the photos.
