Helping  to Feed Hungry Neighbors

Have you been at market at the end of the day when everyone is packing up? You might see a white van from Willing Hands arrive and visit with food and produce vendors. They are collecting food that didn’t sell at market that will be distributed throughout the Upper Valley through local human service organizations and collaborate with them to provide nutritional information as well. See what else they do to make the Upper Valley a great place to live.

Youth Market – Coming August 17

Calling all of our young market growers, bakers, and crafters to participate in this year’s Youth Market. Bring your parents and show them what a community market is all about. We’ll make room the younger set to show what they can produce over the past year. If you are interested, please send an email to with a request and a short description of what you will bring. Also include your phone number and your age and your parents’ name. There is limited space so don’t wait.

The market is a place for connections  —  to your food, the seasons, your neighbors and your community. Get connected.

How Local?

Everything that is sold at the Norwich Farmers Market is made or grown in one of the four counties surrounding the market. Grafton and Sullivan counties in Hew Hampshire and Windsor and Orange in Vermont supply us with over 110 vendors. That means that your vegetables have been picked fresh for market, some coming from the fields on Saturday morning. Many of the baked goods started the morning in the oven and some of the crafts are created while you’re shopping.
