Fresh Air and Warmer Weather

We made it through another winter and are excited to be heading to our Route 5 home for the summer. The greens have been coming in for some time now and the vegetable offerings will just increase as the season progresses.  Throw in some beautiful crafts, baked goods, jams and preserves, teas and you have a good reason to stop by our market.

Seedlings  –  Don’t forget to pick up seedlings for your own garden. You’ll be able to get advice from the people who actually grow them.

Our summer market will expand to over 50 vendors providing all the fresh vegetables, meats, baked goods and unique crafts that you’ll need to feed your family, and fill the pantry.

Contact your favorite vendor here if you need to special order anything.

Looking for a quick gift? Why not get a bunch of Farmers Market tokens? They’re sold as $5 coins that can be used at the Norwich Farmers Market year round. They don’t take up much room, don’t expire, and always fit.

Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and can be used with any vendor.

How Local?

Everything that is sold at the Norwich Farmers Market is made or grown in one of the four counties surrounding the market. Grafton and Sullivan counties in New Hampshire and Windsor and Orange in Vermont supply us with over 110 vendors. That means that your vegetables have been picked fresh for market, some coming from the fields on Saturday morning. Many of the baked goods started the morning in the oven and some of the crafts are created while you’re shopping.

Come join us for a Saturday tradition. Get there early to pick up everything that you’ll need for a weekend of gardens, grills, and picnics. Bakers, weaver, carvers, and potters all conspire to make your time at market memorable.

Make sure to sign up for our weekly newsletter right here on our web page.

Here are some photos from the Quechee Area Camera Club. They spent a morning at market in June and took some Spectacular PhotosContact Lisa Lacasse for arrangements to use the photos.

Did you realize that we have over 110 vendors – all right here from Grafton, Sullivan, Orange and Windsor counties? We have over 50 vendors each week during our outdoor markets and 30-40 during the winter season. Some are your perennial favorites but some only come occasionally.

You can find a list of vendors on our web page at
