Frequently Asked Questions

Where and when is the market?

Find us on Route 5 South, one mile from the village of Norwich on Saturdays 9am til 1pm, from the first Saturday in May until the last Saturday in October.  We are here rain or shine.

Find us in the village of Norwich (usually in Tracy Hall) on the first Saturday of each month from November until April, 10am til 2pm.  We also have a Thanksgiving and a Holiday market, check the calendar for specific dates.

Where do all of these amazing goods come from?

All products for sale at the market must be made, grown, and sold by the vendors themselves or their employees, and must be produced in Windsor or Orange counties, Vermont, or Grafton or Sullivan counties, New Hampshire.

There was a vendor here last week I wanted to buy something from, this week I don’t see him/her.

While most of our vendors come each week, some come only on certain days (especially craft vendors).  Please ask the market manager if you are looking for a specific vendor, he will have their contact information, and may know when they are expected at market again.

What if it’s raining?

We are here each week, no matter the weather.  Please bring your umbrella and join us!

Can I bring my dog?

Service dogs are welcome, but pets are not allowed at the farmers market.  We love our dogs, too, but please leave them at home.  Thanks.

I’ve lost something at market.

Please contact our market manager at manager@norwichfarmersmarket.org or 802.384.7447.

How/where do I park?

We have plenty of parking at the market.  When you turn into the market from route 5, please drive past the first parking lot on your left.  For safety reasons, no left hand turn into that lot.  Follow the drive to the end, it will lead you to a right-hand turn into our parking area.  There is also parking on the grass behind the dirt lot.  We have tried to mark the way clearly with signs.  Thank you!

How do I become a vendor?

Please see our Membership page, or contact the market manager.
